The site of a horrible massacre becomes… the site of another horrible massacre

Years after a horrible series of murders, a sleazy film producer returns to Crippen High School to make a film about the crimes. But the production is rocked by a series of murders. A goofy, twisting, slasher-comedy with an incredible performance by Maureen McCormick, and a glimpse of young George Clooney. 

While it’s easy for the film critics of the time to write this off as another one of those terrible slashers, this is a classic that still holds up in many ways. It’s smart in portraying the debauchery of low-life film producers, tense with its layers of storyline, and just bloody fun.
